There are many things that fuel my soul to live more deeply and passionately. Tuning in with meditation, spending time in nature, preparing nutrient dense meals from trusted sources, body movement, ancestral practices and connecting with oneself are part of my daily life. The practices, tools, and products I share all center around my core values of ʻohana, time, and connection.
Everyday, I am looking for ways to nourish and nurture my boys, my husband, and our furry baby George with nutrient dense foods and love. ʻOhana (Hawaiian for family) is my highest value.

Heidi Taam is a business owner, author, wife, mother of 2 boys and a
furbaby named George and a most recently a flight attendant on a
mission to open her boys’ eyes to the life beyond the islands, surf the
world with her husband and experience and share the world around us.
Since 1995 for 24 years she worked with writers, photographers,
directors, and producers of hundreds of magazines and TV shows
that ran for 10+ years to create stories to introduce Hawaii’s culture,
businesses, personalities and activities to the Japan Market.
Parallel to this career in 2004 she and her husband Andy started
Hawaiian Fightgear as a family run online business providing
quality Mixed Martial Arts equipment to expand the health and
safety of Hawaii’s martial artists and professional fighters and to
be able to have more control of their personal time to raise
